Best TOEFL Test Prep Courses in Munich (Germany)
Munich students seeking highly effective preparation services for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) should contact Manhattan Review right away for detailed information on our local TOEFL offerings. Prospective undergraduate or graduate students can pass the TOEFL with our rigorous on-site TOEFL prep courses, convenient and practical online TOEFL classes, or customized private TOEFL tutoring, and TOEFL practice tests are also available. All of our on-site TOEFL prep options meet at central locations around Munich and at times that fit into busy student schedules. Manhattan Review is a global education company that has been specializing in test prep for international students since we were founded in 1999. Our TOEFL learning programs will teach you how to master each of the TOEFL's four areas (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). Regardless of your current level of English-language competence, our highly credentialed TOEFL tutors and instructors will show you how to develop the language skills necessary for passing the TOEFL and succeeding in academic situations.
Since TOEFL requirements vary considerably from program to program, the first step in Manhattan Review's TOEFL learning process is assessment of target scores. Certain TOEFL subscores can be more important for one degree program than for another, and teaching assistantships often have TOEFL standards that are higher than for admission alone. At Northwestern University, applicants to the Pritzker School of Law must score at least 100, but applicants to the Bienen School of Music need only produce a 95 at the doctoral level and an 85 at the master's level. The Department of English at the University of Illinois Chicago requires a composite score of 95, with at least 24 in listening, speaking, and reading and a 22 in writing. The minimum composite TOEFL score for graduate students at Arizona State University is 80, but applicants for teaching assistantships are required to receive at least 26 on the speaking subscore.
Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep courses and private tutoring have helped thousands of students begin their chosen degree programs. Our students have pursued bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in academic disciplines ranging from the liberal arts to the hard sciences at the best universities in the world, including MIT, Harvard, Oxford, CalTech, Cambridge, Princeton, Yale, the University of Edinburgh, Johns Hopkins, the University of London, Dartmouth, the University of Pennsylvania, Australian National University, and the University of Chicago. Many of our international clients have decided to remain in the United States after graduation, and have been hired by Fortune 500 companies such as Prudential Financial, Apple, United Technologies, and Microsoft. Others have returned to their home countries to accept public or private sector jobs in business, government, education, or philanthropy. We have former students currently working for Munich firms such as Emotion Media Factory, Munich Re, Dallmayr, and Odeon Film. Manhattan Review's Munich TOEFL prep services will help you pass the TOEFL and get started on your future success.

Meet a Munich TOEFL Tutor: Christos G.
Christos G. was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He was educated at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where he completed bachelors and masters degrees in history. He took the TOEFL before beginning his undergraduate studies and received a score of 118, which is an "expert" classification. He has been a TOEFL prep tutor in the United States and Germany since 2010.
In his TOEFL teaching, Christos uses spoken English as the basis for learning all of the other skills. "In my experience, if I can get a student to be able to communicate their thoughts in spoken English, all of the other skills much more easily fall into place," he says. "To some degree, my teaching style resembles the immersion approach used in many primary and secondary schools, and I have found that my approach works."
